A very different way to experience this special island. We'll launch next to Fort Clinch and paddle across Cumberland Sound to the southern tip of Cumberland Island and then into the salt marshes of Beach Creek landing near the Carnegie estate.
Once on the island you will have time to tour the ruins of the magnificent Dungeness mansion, see where Robert E. Lee's dad was first buried, or just get lazy at the miles of uncrowded beaches.
